Genghis Khan exhibition

Genghis Khan exhibition opened on February 25, 2009 in Houston, Texas under theme the history of Genghis Khan and Great State Mongolia .

There are over 150 exhibits including stone monuments, chinawares, arms and, silver and gold belongings relating with the Genghis Khan’s history and Mongolians lives and culture of the 13th century. They were borrowed put from museums in Mongolia and the State Hermitage Museum of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition is being organized by the “DinoDon Productions Company” of the U.S. and they received their exhibits from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science /MECS/, the National Museum of Mongolia, the Institute of Archeology of the Science Academy of Mongolia, the Natural Central Library, the Military Historic Museum, and a museum of Dornod aimag.

An opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by President of Museum Joule Bartch, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador from Mongolia in the U.S. Kh.Bekhbat, and delegation headed by a director of the art department of the MECS and artists of the State Folk Song and Dance made their performance.
The exhibition is continuing until September 7, 2009.
