Mongolians in Los Angeles

Mongolians in Los Angeles celebrate the Naadam Festivals on July 11 which similar to American July 4th Independence Day. Every year several hundreds of Mongols gather in Rancho Park.

It usually starts with Mongolian National Anthem, lifting up the flag, national wrestling tournament with lots of traditional singing and dancing. Each year, there is a contest of traditional costumes with 9k in grand prize.
