Responsible tourism in Mongolia

A responsible tourism project “One tourist-per tree” will be co-implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Mongolian Tourism Federation among tourism companies.

This initiation was showed in order to utilize environment and to develop the environment-friendly ecotourism.

The project will be carried out in five tourism bases including, “Three Camels of Gobi” of Umungobi aimag, “Ongiin secret” of Dundgobi aimag, and “Silver tree” of Uvurkhangai aimag.

Ger tourism bases will establish an arboretum and make their contribution on deciding forestation issues besides of planting trees by the number of each tourist.
