Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia – October 20, 2008: Indraa Bold, Governing Board Member of Mongolia National Tourism Organization will join a cadre of innovators and experts scheduled to address adventure travel business leaders representing 26 countries and 200 adventure travel companies, tourism boards, and marketing organizations from around the world at the 2008 Adventure Travel World Summit-Europe in Norway, October 21-25.
Hosted by the Seattle-based Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), Indraa Bold will serve as a featured speaker at the trade organization’s fifth Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS). While marketing, sustainable tourism, trends and research headline the executive conference, strategic insights, best business practices, and practical tools sessions complete the Summit, which starts above the Arctic Circle aboard a Hurtigruten vessel.
Summit organizers invited Ms. Bold to speak during the ATTA World Trade Summit—Europe for her specific expertise to co-present a session titled “Connecting the Dots: Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), Operator and Agent Collaboration” (see www.adventuretravelworldsummit.com for extra details). Indraa Bold will join Mr. Daniel Spinelli, ABETA (Brazilian Adventure Travel Trade Association) in addressing Summit delegates.
“Indraa Bold was asked to join this Summit’s noteworthy assembly of adventure travel experts for her industry leadership, her ability to clearly convey insights and recommendations about cutting-edge issues affecting the adventure travel industry,” said ATTA Vice President Chris Doyle. “Indraa and other Summit presenters will collaboratively deliver a potent mix of visionary and practical approaches that will shape a sustainable future for adventure travel.”
Ms. Bold specializes in tourism planning and strategic marketing of a destination both on policy and implementation levels. As a member of the MNTO Governing Board she engaged in developing various marketing concepts for Mongolian tourism products and promoted them at international tourism and travel trade fairs in key source markets of Mongolian tourism.
“Engaging with the Summit’s adventurous and influential audience is ideal for addressing and advancing stakeholders’ cooperation along the supply chain of the tourism industry on issues related to management of operations, fair distribution of benefits, preservation of the natural and cultural heritage,” said Indraa. “As one of the industry’s most important gatherings of leaders, the ATTA’s Summit is a visible stage to address positioning of Mongolia as the next adventure destination and building strategic alliances to promote Mongolia internationally keeping in mind the practicing sustainability and other issues at heart of all stakeholders.”
